Child's Play '05/Jack Thompson pulls out of GTA case Nov. 8th, 2005 @ 09:44 pm
One of the most renowned gaming comcis out there. Headed by the two who go by the names of Gabe and Tycho. Chances are, if you like games, you're a fan of their comics. But in the past few years, they've started some great things. One of their first being Child's Play, a charity for sick children in select hospitals around the world. But this money is not going towards medicine, they've figured that these hospitals get enough of that, instead they buy the children toys and games, because every child needs something to entertain themselves with while in the Hospitals. (I know, just half a week drove me mad! ^^) While Mario may not be as important as medication, for children this is some enlightenment for them, and sometimes, that can be just as helpful.
Consider donating, it would be nice of you to. ^_^

(Miami Attorney) Jack Thompson, has pulled out of one of his GTA case undertakings. For those of you not fully aware of him, Jack Thompson is an outspoken critic of the video game industry, often clammoring for publicity, making incorrect and often ridiculous statements. This could be the last of him we see for awhile. Today is just chock full of good news!

Gitaroo Man Sequel/New Spy Hunter/Halo and Splinter Cell scripts/Harvest Moon: Magical Melody Nov. 7th, 2005 @ 08:59 pm
That's correct, a sequel to the cult favorite Gitaroo Man is in development, but not for the PS3, for the PS2. The game should be released sometime in late 2006, possibly a 2007 release. Not much is known about it at this time, but this comes over as a huge surprise for fans. Better yet, it WILL be coming stateside!
Spy Hunter Three has been confirmed, hopefully this time it's more of what made Spyhunter (original 3-D one) so great.
The Halo Movie Script has been leaked, and with critical acclaim. Statements are flowing in that Halo will be the game based movie to break the mediocre game-movie curse. Now it needs to be seen if everything else falls into play to confirm this statement.
I am currently looking for any possible links of it.

Also, while it has been known for some time, I figured that you might want the first act of the new Splinter Cell movie...
Hot on the heels of the news of Harvest Moon for the DS being released in North America, comes the news that the most recent GCN entry, Harvest Moon: Magical Melody, is ALSO heading stateside!
One of the most noteable things about Magical Melody is it's perspective, which is remanescent of Animal Crossing. Fans of the series will be happy to notice the reappearance of "Blue Hat", the original Harvest Moon boy. Not only that, but it also allows you to play as a female, of course making much more sense than releasing two seperate games. Magical Melody also boasts that it contains an actual goal, which is saving the Harvest Goddess from her imprisionmint as a statue. Hopefully this will not hinder the overall gameplay...

Harvest Moon DS; US release confirmed! Nov. 4th, 2005 @ 10:58 pm
Harvest Moon for the DS will be coming to the US.
While no exact date is confirmed, it should apparently hit stores sometime in Spring 2006. The game uses the same perspective as that of the GBA Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, with a few appaerances of characters from HM: A Wonderful Life. One unique feature is being able to interact with a few of your animals and some other misscellanuos tasks using the DS stylus. HM for the DS is already out in Japan and one could get an import, but considering the immense amount of dialouge required for the game, and stat-tracking, it becomes apparent WHY a DS relief is neccesary.
